Nang Yuan Island

Koh Nang Yuan is located only 20 minutes by boat from Mae Haad pier or 10-15 min if you depart from Sairee Beach. The exotic beauty of Koh Nang Yuan is referred to as the pearl of the Gulf of Thailand and the island is featured in numerous coffee table picture books. Of course, Koh Nang Yuan, just as Koh Tao is surrounded by coral reef to the delight of snorkelers and scuba divers alike. Koh Nang Yuan is very small compared to Koh Tao. Like most beaches it’s a totally open space with no trees or shade but you beachloungers and parasols are available for rent. Most tourists prefer take day trips here but there is also accommodation available on the island for those who are interested to spend a night or two.
