Chalok Baan Kao Bay
Chalok Baan Kao : Well known for the image of a giant rock that looks like a hunchback sitting on it, locals calls it "Hin Poh Ta Toh", it has become a symbol of this particular bay. With a very chilled atmosphere, slower pace of life, it is easy to find place to stop and park for a relaxing afternoon on the beach or delicious meals at one of the many small local restaurants in the area. There is also another highlight of this area - a rehabilitation centre for sea turtles at New Heaven Diving School. This rehabilitation centre is responsible for taking care of the sea turtles, making sure they are well adjusted and healthy before returning them back into the wild. Turtles are fed daily at 4pm at the diving school.
